Mandatory notification of trade

(Bermuda, 24 September 2008): With reference to previous notices to the Oslo Stock Exchange regarding BW Offshore's employee stock ownership program (ESOP), a total of 241,774 shares have been bought by employees and transferred to their respective VPS accounts. Following these transactions, BW Offshore Limited holds 2,797,731 own shares.
